A common misconception is that the newspaper ads must be run consistently for two consecutive weeks. The ad should be published in consecutive weeks, seven days apart. Example: The first ad runs on Tuesday and the second ad runs Tuesday of the following week.
We're asking members to help us collect data on where you currently run your ads. Please provide your input here to help us.

Subject: Re-visiting newspaper ads in the next TX session?
Just came here to complain about a newspaper in Tx charging $60 PER DAY, yes PER DAY to run a public notice. This nonsense has got to stop. Such a waste of time and money. More people would see the notice if I posted it on my personal facebook page for free. Heck, a corplast sign posted on the highway outside my facility for $20 would get more eyes on it and would be more of a true public notice. Please stop the madness

Can anyone from TSSA give us an update on plans for the next Texas legislative session?
Will there be a renewed push to kill the newspaper auction ad requirement?
Thanks!
