    Hello All!

    We purchased a property about 8–12 months ago and have been going back and forth with Google trying to get it verified. Since then, we've closed on 4–5 additional properties and had no issues getting those verified. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? If so, what solutions or remedies have worked for you? Thanks in advance!

    Yes.

    Verifying googlemybiz has become more difficult and challenging to get verified. I have two facilities that I am going to try and reverify today. My first two attempts did not work (earlier this year).

    I bought a facility this year and the owner transferred it over to me through googlemybiz. Google told me that because it did not have an office for customers that they wouldn't verify it.

    So, the entire time before (with the previous owner) it was verified and now I have to figure out a work around. In the meantime it is showing an old name and address.

    We encountered this issue at several of our locations, and one workaround is to convert a unit-preferably a 10x10-into a temporary office by setting up a table, chair, and computer for the verification video. This method allowed us to verify many of our facilities successfully; however, we are currently facing challenges with our latest property.

    Google Business is a clown show. I've run into this same problem with a remote facility - no office, no verification. 

    And trying to get help over the phone is a dead-end since the people who answer are usually in Bangladesh.

    I would love to hear solutions to this problem as we are experiencing this issue with our property in Nevada. Our TX property had a google business ID we took over from the previous owner. I've heard if you sign up for their google ads they will get you verified. That's my next step.
