Let's talk about self storage.

My understanding is that we are required to fill out the odometer disclosure statement before towing a vehicle.  How exactly am I supposed to get the odometer reading on a vehicle that I don't have the keys to?  I'm sure I'm overthinking this....

Our contact at the TDMV states that the odometer disclosure statement is not required if transferring to a VSF. That's not clear on the form or any supporting documentation. If you wanted to include a best guess of mileage you can provide a number and then select the "Not Actual Mileage" checkbox.
