We've heard from a few members and want to thank everyone that is helping with boots on the ground and from afar. There are many ways you can support and we'll continue to share what we're hearing from the members. Please do the same.
These donation requests have been shared from members, but we encourage you to give how and to whom you feel comfortable. If you have experience with other organizations (whether it be in the Kerr County or other areas impacted) please share your input as well.
City West Church is staging and providing food for first responders, Salvation Army, rescue contractors, etc. in Kerrville.
Community Foundation of the Hill Country will direct funds to vetted organizations (not individuals) providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort.

Thank you. Our facility has not been directly affected by the event, thankfully. I contacted the City of Bandera a few miles away and registered our facility as a local donation drop off/collection site for items needed for those directly impacted as some local agencies are are already out of space to temporarily store emergency items.

As soon as we have more information from the members impacted, we hope to share how we can help them. If you are near areas impacted and are able to offer support, we encourage you to send a message here as a way to connect our members with one another.
If you have been impacted, please let us know what TSSA and your fellow members can do for you now.
Here are some disaster relief resources for communicating with tenants.

Has there been any organized response to this disaster within the Texas Self-Storage community? The facility I manage is about 30 miles from Kerrville, in Pipe Creek and I want to assist in whatever capacity is needed. Its still a bit chaotic in the area as far as as finding out how to help or how to donate in ways other than financial, so any info or suggestions are appreciated.
