Storage Units in Texas are getting very hard to get wind and hail coverage. We just renewed our policy with RT Specialties-(Lloyds of London) We were also quoted by The Mahoney Group. I would also be very interested in who other facilities are using. Insurica out of Fort Worth was the broker who found insurance for us.

We currently use Nationwide as our insurance provider, filed a claim, and they are now dropping us. Our insurance broker said she got another quote for our account, but they have to write a separate policy to cover Wind/Hail and that minimum premium is $25k, which is in addition to the property and liability premium. Can you share who you are using to cover your facility?
