    I look forward to seeing everyone this week at the conference. We have over 100 first-time attendees this year. What tip(s) do you have for them to make the most of their conference experience?

    Newbie Tip: when meeting someone new…your 30 second elevator pitch…this is my connection to self storage (example, I own a storage facility in whatever town Tx) then say “im looking for people that might help me with…whatever…do you have any experience with that or do you know anyone I should talk with that could help me? Then see where it goes. NEXT NEXT NEXT (This is Key! Turn it around. Find out who they are. What their needs are and connect them with someone you might know and it is ok if it is someone you just met 10 min ago). Work to be an active and connected ongoing resource to your ever expanding network. Go get em!
