    Posted 08-29-2025 11:52 AM

I'm planning to build a non-climate self-storage facility in Mexico. My cost analysis shows about 40% savings using cinder block vs. metal building.

Looking for advice, best practices, or contacts from anyone with experience or knowledge in this area. Thanks in advance!

you must be getting very high prices on a metal building.  Metal should be a lot cheaper that CMU.  Talk to of the vendor in the TSSA Magazine.  Or ask a metal supplier for erectors to quote the metal. If Metal Mart or Muller are in the area check with them.

Is the TSSA magazine online?  I am currently seeking to talk to metal suppliers, and erectors for quotes.  In the Houston area.

    The TSSA Magazine is online.

You can also find vendors on the Vendor Locator page.

    Happy searching!
