    Can anyone recommend an attorney to evict three tenants I have in Williamson County. We took the property over and I have three tenants with unsigned leases. I spoke with one attorney and he told me that I didn't need to evict the tenants because I had an implied contract of payment, since the tenants had stored their items and had paid. This is contractdictory to what TSSA says. I'm kind of in a conundrum. Two tenants are MIA and one tenant is in jail indefinitely. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    No need for the expense of an attorney.  Evection is easy.  Just follow the outline in the Gold Book.  With a lease or not you can still evict through the JP court. 

     

    An easier way I have found is to give the tenant notice the rent is going up 3 times what he is currently paying.  When they call tell them if they sign a new lease the rate will whatever you want.  If you really want him out just stick with the 3 times rate.  I think they will move.

    Thanks for the quick response. The problem with doing it myself is that we manage remotely and I live out of the area. It would be great to be able to schedule all three on the same day, I just don't think I'd get that lucky.
