    Hey everyone,

I'm new to the business, brand new to posting.  I have some land that I'm finally getting around to putting a small facility on.
Was curious about the width of my enclosed boat storage ....I had planned on 11' Wide units, but is that simply too narrow?

    Thanks!

I would recommend no less than a 12' wide framed opening for RVs.  Some facilities do 14' wide.  I normally do fully enclosed spaces with a 12' wide 14' tall door.

I just built my first building for boats/small RV's and only made the door 10' wide.  Already wishing I had done 12'.

14' wide units with 12' wide doors is a good option. The minimum I would build for boat/RV is 12' wide with 10' doors. Depending on the location, you will also get inquiries from commercial tenants and trades looking to store work vehicles.
