Anyone using Sentry Solo gate management. They sent us an email, and I reached out to them, and we are discussing it. It uses QR codes which bring up a virtual keypad on the tenant's phone that they then enter their 5 or 6 digit gate code on to open the gate. The system seems pretty straight forward and seems to have all the bells and whistles that our current system has (which is hard wired keypads to a mother board..Doorking). It is cloud based with a monthly subscription fee of $75 and uses WIFI or cellular if the Wi-Fi is down. The cellular access is included in the monthly fee.
I feel the system is a better fit as the entry requires the use of the phone registered in the portal. Using another phone to scan the QR code and entering a gate code that someone else has won't work. We do have issues with tenants giving out their code to family members and friends etc. We had one tenant give his gate code to a repo man that was coming out to repo his travel trailer. We live and work on site so when they showed up, I escorted them to the spot and back off the property and immediately removed the gate code. Had we been out of town or simply away from the property, it could be a problem.
Curious if anyone is currently using Sentry Solo or Gate Sentry at their facility.
