My Architect and the Consulting Firm / Registered Accessibility Experts (RAS) hired have me as non-compliant and claim that I need to build a sidewalk (with no gate access) to a closed (fenced off) Storage building to comply with TAS 206.2.1 ( TAS CHAPTER 2: SCOPING REQUIREMENTS )
I replied to them (since it makes no "practical" sense and will cost me $5k at least) :
Item 206.2.1 shows the following exception which applies to our site since entry requires a vehicle (and previous authorization via a private and secure code that is only provided to tenants who have signed a lease and acknowledged / agreed to abide by the site rules and regulations), there is no public nor pedestrian entryway nor access.
and the RAS replies : It is my recommendation that you contact TDLR tech support for clarification. We will revise our inspection report based on their recommendation and response. Please provide the TDLR recommendation for our records.

Any suggestions? I like that these "experts" charge like they one and then basically give me back the problem and expense...
