    Hello all.

A member recently shared this video of multiple cats and kittens (alive, thankfully) found in a customer's unit.  That's a LOT of cats! The manager at this The Storage Place facility was doing his daily walk-throughs and heard the poor cats and kittens meowing. If the manager hadn't followed his normal routine this could have been a tragic story. The tenant was charged with animal cruelty and abandonment. What crazy (or sad) things have you discovered in a unit?

A tenant trying to live inside a unit does happen from time to time, and that is never easy on anyone, since it is a clear violation of health code and the lease and requires immediate action.  In this case, the tenant had managed to build a psuedo house inside the unit, complete with a front door, window and window unit air conditioner! The manager discovered this during a drive-through of the facility at night, as the tenant was keeping things quiet and dark during the day. It's difficult to see, but yes, there is a roll-up door to the unit. At night the tenant was bold enough to leave it rolled up. Needless to say, the tenant was quickly evicted and the internal walls taken down.
