Does anyone have input on Sliding Glass Doors. I have a quote for my new buildings but do not know exactly what I need.

Jeannie off top of my head, I believe we have Assa Abloy sliding doors (Stanley also makes them). I am thinking they run $7-8,000 per set…

Important factor in deciding which door vendor to use is that sliding doors require service. Your general contractor should have input on this..

Like Robert suggests, it's all about quality install, quality product and service because they do have problems occasionally (being out of alignment due to cart damage, bad sensors, etc.).  In your market, consider Door Control Services.  We install a RECORD 5100 series 196" x 104" (O-SX -SX-O) type with motion sensors AND solenoid lock that can integrate with access control.  Also find it easier to get 2-year warranty off the top by negotiating with Door Control at time of contract.

Thank you so much! I was totally in the dark on these doors but knew I wanted them.
